Transforming Maternal & Child Health
In 2020, Dr. Priscilla Busingye was awarded the prestigious Gerson L’Chaim (To Life) Award from African Mission Healthcare Foundation (AMH). Proceeds from this award, along with additional resources from AMH and CBH allowed the launch of the Ngonzi Nsa Initiative to further enable the life-changing care Sr. Priscilla has provided in rural Uganda since 2003.
In December 2025, the project achieved two major goals, the grand opening of St Therese of Lisieux Rwiibale Hospital and within the hospital setting, a Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health. See Current Projects - Health System Strengthening.
